Welcome to Lawelty ("Lawelty", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to use Lawelty. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
2. Account Registration
Users may register accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities on your account.
3. Use of the Platform
Lawelty connects clients with agents and legal professionals. You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not:
- Violate laws or regulations
- Transmit harmful or unlawful content
- Impersonate other users or entities
- Interfere with platform security or operations
4. Payments and Subscriptions
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Lawelty does not store credit card information. Subscription billing is managed through Stripe, and you agree to their payment terms.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds, if any, will follow our policies communicated at the time of purchase. Cancellations of subscriptions must be made through the platform or Stripe as applicable.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and software on the platform are the property of Lawelty or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
7. Disclaimers
Lawelty is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Use of the platform is at your own risk. We provide Services "as is" and make no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lawelty shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Ontario. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
