Welcome to Lawelty Inc. ("Lawelty", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using our website, platform, or related services (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Lawelty. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Lawelty provides membership administration and coordination services, including vetting and coordinating independent licensed paralegals for eligible Ontario traffic matters. You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes.
Lawelty is not an insurance provider and does not offer insurance products. Lawelty does not reimburse or compensate members for fines, penalties, claims, losses, insurance costs, or expenses outside the selected plan. Lawelty does pay the independent paralegal professional fees expressly included in an eligible member's Plan Schedule.
Membership fees are paid for the platform, administration, coordination, and the benefits expressly included in the selected Plan Schedule. They do not purchase or guarantee a particular legal outcome, provider, response time, or service outside that schedule.

Lawelty is not a law firm or paralegal firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. Your use of the platform does not create a lawyer-client or paralegal-client relationship between you and Lawelty.
Any legal relationship is solely between you and the independent licensed paralegal who accepts the matter and completes any required retainer or professional onboarding with you.
Membership does not create any entitlement to specific legal services or outcomes and is subject to availability, provider acceptance, and plan limitations.
Licensed paralegals coordinated through Lawelty are independent professional providers and are not Lawelty employees, partners, or agents. Sales representatives operate under their own separate agreements with Lawelty and are not parties to a customer's Member Service Agreement.
Lawelty does not control, direct, or interfere with the legal judgment, strategy, or services provided by these professionals.
Lawelty verifies licensing status and assesses experience, fit, and availability, but that vetting does not guarantee quality, availability, timing, or outcome. Each paralegal remains responsible for complying with applicable law and professional rules.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Lawelty does not store your full payment details.
Subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. You authorize recurring charges in accordance with your selected plan. Pricing, billing cycles, and features are disclosed at the time of purchase.
Lawelty pays the independent paralegal professional fees expressly included in the member's Plan Schedule. This is not reimbursement or compensation for a financial loss, fine, penalty, insurance cost, or out-of-scope service.
You may request cancellation at any time by emailing contact@lawelty.ca. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated in the Member Service Agreement or required by law.
Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated at the time of purchase.
You retain ownership of any information or documents you submit. By submitting content, you grant Lawelty a limited license to store, process, and transmit such content for the purpose of providing the Services.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your content.
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
All platform content, software, trademarks, and branding are owned by Lawelty or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
The Services may integrate with third-party providers such as payment processors or communication tools. Lawelty is not responsible for the availability, security, or performance of third-party services.
We strive to keep the Services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Lawelty is not liable for delays, interruptions, data loss, or failures caused by technical issues, third-party services, or events beyond our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lawelty shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business arising from your use of the Services.
Lawelty is not responsible for any legal outcomes, financial consequences, penalties, or damages related to any matter handled by independent legal professionals.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lawelty and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud, misuse of the platform, or where required by law.
Upon the effective date of termination, your access to the Services will cease, subject to any rights or obligations that survive under the Member Service Agreement or law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and notice will be provided where required. Changes to an active paid membership remain subject to the Member Service Agreement and any consent or notice required by law; continued use alone will not replace a consent required by law.
Members are responsible for reviewing the plan they select directly or the plan quoted through an optional agent invitation and confirming that it corresponds to their actual vehicle use (including personal use, rideshare or delivery activities such as Uber or Lyft, or commercial use). The customer personally accepts the Member Service Agreement and reviews the applicable plan details before payment; an agent cannot accept terms on the customer's behalf.
If, at any time, the actual use of the vehicle differs from the selected plan, Lawelty may require the Member to upgrade to the appropriate plan before facilitating further services. Services are provided in accordance with the selected membership plan and its applicable scope.
These Terms govern general use of the website and platform. A paid membership is also governed by the Member Service Agreement and the customer's selected or quoted plan details. A separate signed agent agreement governs the relationship between Lawelty and an agent; it is not part of the customer's agreement. If these Terms conflict with the Member Service Agreement or Plan Schedule on a paid membership matter, those membership documents control according to their stated order of precedence.
If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
