About Us
Learn how Lawelty helps drivers in Ontario manage traffic matters with professional legal support.
What is Lawelty?
Lawelty is a legal support membership for drivers in Ontario. We help drivers navigate traffic-related matters by connecting them with licensed legal professionals who handle their case directly. Lawelty does not provide legal advice or representation. Instead, we coordinate access to qualified professionals and help you move through the process with clarity and confidence.
How does the monthly membership work?
You pay a fixed monthly fee based on your selected plan. If an eligible traffic-related matter arises, your membership gives you access to coordinated legal services that are included within your plan, subject to defined limits - so you don't have to deal with unexpected upfront legal costs. The service is designed to make legal support more predictable, accessible, and easier to manage.
What does my monthly fee actually get me?
Your monthly membership fee gives you access to coordinated legal services for eligible traffic-related matters, within the limits of your selected plan. This includes:
Case intake and onboarding
Coordination with licensed legal professionals
Assitance in preparing your case through licensed professionals
Initial court appearance by a licensed legal professional
Up to two additional court appearances, if required
Does Lawelty represent me in court?
Lawelty itself does not appear in court. Court matters are handled by licensed legal service providers, such as paralegals, who are authorized to represent clients in traffic matters. Your membership provides access to coordinated legal services, including an initial court appearance and up to two additional court appearances by licensed professionals, within the limits of your selected plan.
What is an "initial court appearance"?"
An initial court appearance means that a licensed legal professional attends court for your matter as part of the standard legal process. This may include scheduling, attending, and managing the first court appearance related to your traffic charge.
What does "case preparation" mean?
Case preparation means your matter is reviewed and organized before court, including:
Reviewing the charge
Reviewing relevant documents
Preparing how the matter will be handled in court
What are legal consultations?
Legal consultations are scheduled calls with a licensed legal professional where you can ask questions, understand your situation, and receive guidance on next steps within their licensed scope.
Do you guarantee results or ticket dismissal?
Our role is to coordinate access to licensed legal professionals who handle your matter in accordance with applicable standards.
