Lawelty Inc. ("Lawelty", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, platform, and related services (the "Services").

Payments are processed by our third-party provider, Stripe. Lawelty does not store full credit card or banking details. Stripe collects and processes payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Your information may be stored or processed outside of Canada, including in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. These jurisdictions may have different privacy laws. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected through contractual and organizational safeguards.
We use a necessary authentication or session cookie and local browser storage for functions such as theme preference. Stripe or Google may use their own technologies when you choose their checkout or sign-in services. Lawelty does not currently deploy advertising cookies or Google Analytics in the application. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this policy and the Cookie Policy should be updated and any consent required by law obtained before they are used.
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the identified purposes, including while an account, membership, agent relationship, matter, payment, or dispute remains active, and afterward where required for legal, tax, audit, professional, fraud-prevention, or limitation-period purposes. Information is then deleted, anonymized, or securely destroyed in accordance with applicable requirements.
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask questions about its use or disclosure, challenge our compliance, request deletion where applicable, or withdraw consent to optional uses, subject to legal and contractual limits. You may unsubscribe from marketing using the link in a promotional email or by contacting us. Withdrawal may affect our ability to provide Services that require the information. We may need to verify identity before completing a request.
Lawelty is not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
