What is not supported under any Lawelty plan?
Under applicable paralegal regulations, the following matters are not included in any Lawelty membership and require separate legal services:
Criminal Code offences
Driving without insurance, including failure to produce proof of insurance where insurance does not in fact exist
Matters involving bodily injury or death
Civil liability or insurance claims
Federal or regulatory/compliance matters (CVOR, carrier safety, audits, logs, etc.)
Cargo, overweight, dangerous goods
AZ/DZ regulatory compliance outside POA Ontario
Paralegals provide permitted legal services within their licensed scope of practice. Where a matter requires a lawyer, we may assist with a referral, however lawyer services are not included unless explicitly stated.
